Outlet in disguise..
Outlet in disguise... high prices .. nothing you can't get ...in an Norman sale several offers I found was cheaper online...
To pat by credit card seems to be a wide spread issue.. won't come back. Not even if I pass right by.. If you go for low price and good buy.. go somewhere else this is ABSOLUTELY waste of time..... and 3,5 euro for parking..
Swindon Designer Outlet gift card
I paid and item with a Swindon designer Outlet gift card in Mountain Warehouse then I returned it, but the amount wasn't returned to my gift card, according with the person in charge it wasn't possible instead they give me a Mountain Warehouse voucher/gift card, I contacted over the phone the outlet centre management, they asked me to send an email to correct the transaction, which I did with copy of the receipts and gift card on the 30th of March plus a reminder on the 22nd of April and after 3 months I haven't received any reply.

Disappointing and Misleading!
Been coming here since it opened, but it's getting more and more expensive. Parkings a nightmare because over the years, parking land has been used to build more shops.
Today was advertised as a sale day - there was very little on sale, most prices were the same as before Christmas! I bought a coat today supposedly reduced from £1299 to £649. On the shops High Street website the same coat was advertised as being reduced from £849 to £649??? Out of curiosity I priced a few other items I'd bought, or had wanted but they didn't have our sizes available at CO - many were actually cheaper in the High Street shops! So I ask myself, how is this an Outlet? I think in future, I'll go to a City.

Cheshire Oaks today was impossible to shop due to the amount of dogs. Dogs barking and even defecating on the pavement outside the shops. It’s a chore trying to negotiate around the endless dog leads. It was so bad we cut short the visit and left. Even one of the shop owners admitted it has gotten completely out of hand and is now putting people of going. We won’t return unless this issue is dealt with. For someone like me with walking difficulties it is dangerous.

Good selection of shops
Good selection of shops. I took my daughter to the Bridgend outlet to find some new trainers and she found the ones she wanted.

Sam at Cheshire Oaks customer liaison office was a great help.
recently my wife and I visited Cheshire oaks and encountered a problem where a company allowed us to order a cake to collect at a timeslot on a day their store was not opened. which caused us great distress. we were then kindly directed to the customer liaison office, where we met Sam, she was very helpful and took charge, tried to contact the shop with the contacts that she had, and tried to find an alternative cake for us to surprise our daughter with. She help leave a message at the shop to call us in the morning. Basically Sam is a feather in the cap of McArthur Glen.

York
Recently visited the outlet in York, overall positive experience with tape to mark social distancing. Very friendly assistant standing at the entrance to The North Face
York outlet
I have just visited the York outlet, it was quiet and easy to find a parking spot, however, the choice of shops is very poor, with many of the outlets selling poor quality merchandise.

The designer outlet is great at first- Lots of shops, lots of known brands, and you can find a good discount if you are willing to search... My problem is the layout is a bit annoying, the shops are in a big loop, and if you want to dash over to another shop, you have to cross the carpark. I feel it's designed to make you walk the long way round past more shops than you usually would in order to spend more... None the less, it is still worth visiting.

McarthurGlen Designer Outlet - York
McarthurGlen Designer Outlet - York.
Disappointed with this designer outlet, although easy to get to and has free parking, its predominately high end shops / expensive or ones you’ve never heard of before and is, personally I’d head into York itself to the Coppergate area or just off the Shambles area for shops like Superdry etc.
Appalling service at Geox in Ashford Designer Outlet
I am still shocked at the appalling service I received from the Geox store manager, for simply asking for a refund for an unworn children's boot that my child refused to wear. I was treated like criminal, and to make matters worse she called another member of staff to ask me the questions so she doesn't have to talk to me or even look at me directly. If this behaviour was not humiliating and pathetic I don't know what is! I have never in my life encountered such behaviour and certainly did not expect it from a store manager. Instead of giving me a chance to hear my question about the total refund, she shouted and told me that I must listen to her, and not only raised her voice but decided to lean across the counter and Grab the card of my hand. I will certainly be complaining and seeking legal advice. This person is not fit to be serving the public in any way or form.
